Wendy's Experience with

Veterinary Wellness Plans

As a practice owner, Wendy had utilized Senior diagnostic bundled plans. In 2011, after reviewing the findings in the Bayer/Brakke Veterinary Care Usage Study she decided to launch innovative and comprehensive veterinary  wellness plans in her hospital.  In the first year of the program senior diagnostic compliance rates skyrocketed as did client annual spending.  To her delight she was able to present this information to her colleagues at the AAHA Annual Conference. .  Debbie and Wendy both know - bundled veterinary wellness plans work!

In January of 2000 Debbie sat in a class at the North American Veterinary Conference.  The presenter asked if anyone had packaged and sold veterinary wellness plans in their practice.  She raised her hand along with only 2 other attendees. She was very surprised that other veterinary teams had not  realized the value of bundling preventive services for their patients.  Although her packages were based on semi- annual visits rather than the monthly payment options they still had been very successful resulting in high compliance rates for care.
